Newcastle United take on Fulham at Craven Cottage in a Premier League fixture that carries significant weight for Matthias Jaissle's side. The Magpies arrive in west London after consecutive defeats to Everton and are in urgent need of a positive result and performance.
Team News and Selection Concerns
Jaissle faces an injury concern over midfielder Joelinton, while he must also find the attacking combination that brings goals. Belgian forward Matias Feriandez-Pardo is expected to return to the squad after illness.
Fulham have begun to find some form after a poor start to the season, making the contest a challenging one for the visitors.
Stakes Ahead of the International Break
A win for Newcastle today could lift them back into the top half of the table heading into the November international break. It is only the tenth Premier League match of Jaissle's short tenure, but the fixture already feels like a hugely important one for the German and his team.
