Moyes Warns Premier League of 'Free-for-All' After Everton Penalty Denial

David Moyes has criticised the Premier League's officiating after Everton were denied a penalty in their 3-3 draw with Manchester City, warning the league risks becoming a 'free-for-all'. The Everton manager expressed disbelief that a second-half grapple between Bernardo Silva and Merlin Rohl did not result in a spot-kick.

Speaking after the match, Moyes said: 'If that doesn't get given as a penalty then it's an absolute free-for-all from now on. I might have to start coaching my defenders how to defend differently completely. It looks like now you're able to sort of grapple and wrestle on the ground if you want.'

The incident occurred with Everton leading 3-2 in the 87th minute, and Moyes highlighted it as the latest in a series of controversial decisions against his side. The club had earlier this week lodged a complaint with the PGMOL after a clear handball by West Ham's Mateus Fernandes went unpunished.

Moyes also questioned the timing of Manchester City's equaliser, which came in the 97th minute despite six minutes of added time. He argued that a substitution made in stoppage time should not have added 30 seconds because the player was already off the pitch.
