Kelly Osbourne has launched a scathing attack on her ex-fiancé Sid Wilson, just days after he was fired from his band Slipknot. While Kelly, 41, did not name him directly, she referenced their three-year-old son and said she was owed child support.
"Wake the f*** up and take responsibility," she fumed. "I will not take your sh*t anymore! I'm done. I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise." In another post she wrote: "Also while I'm at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?"
Social Media Outburst
In view of her 4.3 million followers, she said on her Stories: "Strange how the loudest defence of the guilty is rarely innocence... It's distraction. When the mask slips, they don't face the mirror; they throw it at someone else. I also heard that when you break a mirror you get 7 years bad luck! Or is that just karma? This is why I always take accountability! As they say some are sicker then others." Kelly then shared a quote reading: "My son's little heart once beat right beside mine. So trust me when I say... I will protect it all costs."
Background of Their Split
It comes just days after Sid was reportedly fired from Slipknot after more than 25 years with the heavy metal group. A source close to the rockers said the dismissal came over how Sid had treated his bandmates. Kelly and Sid had been friends for more than 20 years before coupling up in 2021. They parted ways in March this year, just seven months after they got engaged backstage at Ozzy Osbourne's final concert, Back to the Beginning.
Following Ozzy's death, sources claimed that Kelly had been "struggling" and had found things "incredibly difficult" as she navigated life without her Black Sabbath father. But while they attempted to present a united front, the couple decided to split, with reports saying it was the "best option" for both. And while the TV presenter and former singer has remained relatively quiet about their split, she's now taken to Instagram to unleash a string of attacks against Sid.
Relationship History
Speaking to the Daily Mail earlier this year, a source said: "Kelly has been struggling following the loss of her father. The grieving process has been incredibly difficult, and she's been doing everything she can to cope. In truth, she and Sid have been facing challenges in their relationship for some time, and things were not as they appeared." They added that Kelly and Sid had tried to maintain their relationship for their son's sake, but ultimately decided that splitting was the best option for both of them. The source added: "Kelly has endured a great deal over the past year. Despite everything, she remains sober and is now focusing on herself and her role as a mother, moving ahead."
The former couple met over 20 years ago, when Sid, along with Slipknot, toured with Ozzfest, founded by Kelly's parents, Ozzy and Sharon. In 2022, she confirmed their relationship on social media, sharing a picture of the former couple kissing, along with the caption: "After 23 years of friendship, I can't believe where we have ended up. You are my best friend, my soulmate, and I am so deeply in love with you, Sidney George Wilson." Later that year, they welcomed their son, Sidney.
After welcoming Sidney, Kelly later opened up, explaining that she and Sid had argued over what his surname should be. Speaking on The Osbournes Podcast, she said: "I wanted our son to have both of our last names and he wouldn't let me, and we had a huge fight." She added at the time: "I feel that I was forced into doing something I didn't want to do and I can never, ever forgive him for that, but we can move on. So right now my son doesn't have a double-barreled last name, but after lots of eye-opening conversations and some couples therapy, [Wilson] has seen the light. We are going to legally change our son's name to have both of our last names. We both made our child so they should have both of our last names." Kelly's father, Ozzy, had also said in the past that it was "old-fashioned" for children to only take their father's name.
