Four-time world snooker champion Mark Selby has given fans a glimpse into his luxurious Leicester home, purchased with his career winnings. The 42-year-old, known as 'The Jester from Leicester', has amassed £9.1 million in prize money according to CueTracker, and recently earned £598,950 in the 2025/26 season from his UK Championship and Champion of Champions triumphs.
In a 2021 tour granted to the World Snooker Tour, Selby showed off his practice room featuring a snooker table and a 'Wall of Honour' listing every world champion. The home also includes a sleek black-and-white kitchen and lounge area, with a 'Welcome to the Mad House' sign above the doorway. A large velvet sofa dominates the lounge, which was relocated closer to the kitchen after an extension.
Outside, Selby's garden boasts a play area for his daughter Sofia, an indoor swimming pool, a pool table, a bar, and a film projector. Despite the pool, Selby admitted he cannot swim. 'I still can't swim. Sofia goes in a lot,' he said. He recalled a moment when fellow snooker player Mark Williams pretended to push him in, causing him to panic.
Selby is currently focused on winning his fourth Masters title at Alexandra Palace, with his opening match against Xiao Guodong airing live on BBC Four. A victory would add £350,000 to his earnings.
