Sesko has scored twice in 11 Premier League appearances this season. He withdrew from Slovenia's squad for the upcoming international break, prompting concerns over the severity of his injury. While reports suggest it is not serious, United may seek a short-term replacement if he faces a prolonged absence.
One potential solution is recalling Rasmus Hojlund from his loan at Napoli. The Danish striker has scored four goals in 10 games across all competitions for the Serie A side. However, according to the Manchester Evening News, Hojlund's loan deal contains no recall clause. The agreement includes an option to buy for £38 million, which becomes an obligation if Napoli qualify for the Champions League.
Manager Ruben Amorim also has Joshua Zirkzee available, but the Dutch forward has played only 90 minutes across five games this season. With limited options, United may need to act swiftly in the transfer window to bolster their attacking ranks.
