Liverpool teenager Amara Nallo has completed a loan move to Finnish club HJK Helsinki for the remainder of the year. The 19-year-old centre-back could make his debut as early as Thursday in the Europa Conference League qualifier against Coleraine.
Nallo, who joined Liverpool from West Ham United in 2023, has had a turbulent start to his senior career. He was sent off just four minutes into his debut in the Champions League against PSV Eindhoven in January 2025, becoming the youngest player in Liverpool history to receive a red card.
His second appearance ended similarly, lasting only 12 minutes as a substitute before being dismissed in the League Cup defeat to Crystal Palace last October. However, a third outing against Qarabag in the Champions League saw him play 16 minutes without incident.
The Finland domestic league runs from April to October, so Nallo will be available for the closing rounds of the regular season and the championship playoffs. He has also been named in HJK's squad for their European tie this week.
