Liverpool are preparing to send a bid to Paris Saint-Germain for Bradley Barcola, according to reports. The Reds have previously completed several transfers with the French club.
Barcola has been linked with a move to Anfield following Mohamed Salah's departure at the end of his contract. Andoni Iraola's side have already signed Victor Munoz and Jeremy Jacquet, but further spending is expected.
David Ngog
David Ngog signed his first professional contract with PSG in 2006 and moved to Liverpool two years later at age 19. He scored 19 goals and provided six assists in 94 appearances under three managers before leaving for Bolton Wanderers in 2011. Ngog later played for Swansea City, Reims, Panionios, Ross County, and Budapest Honved, retiring in Lithuania at 31.
Nicolas Anelka
Nicolas Anelka joined Liverpool on loan in January 2001. He had previously played for PSG, Arsenal, and Real Madrid. At Liverpool, he made 22 appearances and scored five times, helping the club finish second in the Premier League. Manager Gerard Houllier did not make the move permanent. Anelka later played for Manchester City and scored twice against Liverpool in May 2003. He finished his career with 223 goals for club and country, winning two Champions League titles and the European Championship with France.
Mamadou Sakho
Mamadou Sakho moved from PSG to Liverpool for £18 million in 2013 after making 201 appearances for the French club and winning Ligue 1. He played 80 times for Liverpool, scoring three goals. After Jurgen Klopp took over, Sakho was loaned to Crystal Palace in 2017 and later signed permanently for £26 million. He later played for Montpellier and Torpedo Kutaisi, retiring in January 2024 at age 35.
