KFC has launched a new limited-edition Mozzamelt range for October, featuring a mozzarella-filled burger and crispy mozzarella sticks. The range is available for five weeks only, from October 5 to November 8, 2026, while stocks last, across participating KFC restaurants in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland, via the KFC app, and on delivery.
What is in the Mozzamelt range?
The Mozzamelt Burger stacks a crispy Original Recipe or Spicy Zinger Fillet with a hot, stretchy fried mozzarella patty, melted cheese slice, fresh iceberg lettuce, and a tangy tomato salsa on a soft glazed sesame bun. Alongside the burger, KFC has introduced Mega Mozza Sticks, crispy golden-fried mozzarella sticks coated in a blend of herbs and spices for a light kick.
How do the Mozzamelt dippers taste?
In a taste test, the mozzarella dippers were found to be far from plain or boring. Although the cheese pull was not as dramatic as the promotional images, the taste more than made up for it. The breadcrumb on the dippers is the star of the show, coated with a number of herbs and spices that give the side a lovely kick.
The kick was refreshing compared to the McDonald's equivalent, which always feels like it's lacking some sort of flavour. The KFC offering also isn't stingy on the cheese, packing in a lot of it into the crispy rectangles. The sticks come in either a bag of three for £3.33 or six for £7.99, which is similar to others on the fast food market.
What about the Mozzamelt burger?
The burger was just as delicious and incredibly comforting. With each bite you got a mix of textures including the stunning crispy chicken fillet, with gooey cheese, fresh salsa and lettuce, with the zingy burger sauce. Despite having the original recipe chicken, there was still a kick coming from the mozzarella patty's crumb that added another flavour to the burger itself.
It was the perfect mix of fresh and indulgent, without leaving you so full that you can't move. The burger costs £8.99 on its own, or £10.99 as part of a meal with chips and a drink. Again, this is the going rate for a limited edition burger meal from a fast food restaurant, and it is well worth the price for the taste alone. The reviewer gave the Mozzamelt burger an 8/10 and would definitely buy it again.
