Joshua vs Fury: Fight Date, Venue, and How to Watch

After 10 years of trading barbs, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are finally set to meet in the ring. Joshua thought his chances of facing Fury were ruined for good when his long-time rival announced his retirement following back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, but the 'Gypsy King' performed a drastic U-turn not long after his announcement. The 37-year-old returned to the ring last month and went on to comfortably beat Arslanbek Makhmudov on points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

As for 'AJ', the former two-time heavyweight world champion has not fought since knocking out Jake Paul back in December. He was expected to fight in February, but was forced to delay his return after he was involved in a tragic car crash just days after his win over Paul. The 36-year-old will take on unknown heavyweight scrapper Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Riyadh before facing Fury. And so, here is everything we know so far ahead of Fury vs Joshua.

When is Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury?

Joshua's all-British clash with Fury is set to take place in either October or November. While an official date or venue has not yet been revealed, Wembley Stadium in north London appears to be the frontrunner to stage the monumental showcase. If the bout were to land in November, it would have to take place either before or after November 12, as England's football team hosts Croatia in the Nations League.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn recently revealed to Sky Sports that a UK stadium looks likely to host the fight, but it could still be staged overseas. "I think it [the UK] is probably the frontrunner but again at the end of the day both fighters are receiving a huge, huge amount of money and [Saudi financier] Turki Alalshikh is paying the bill," he said. "He's got to look at where that fight's going to make sense. I think him as a fight fan would like the fight to take place in the UK but I wouldn't rule out America, I wouldn't rule out Saudi. We'll be in the discussion but at the end of the day, it is what it is."

Anthony Joshua: "It's no secret I've taken some time to consolidate and rebuild to be ready for stepping back into the ring and this is the next step on that journey. I'm looking forward to competing and picking up where I left off. As I said. The landlord will collect his rent. That is certain."

Tyson Fury: "I'll knock him out for sure. He will not be able to survive against me. He does not have any chin and I will bang him on it because I am quicker than him and I am a better boxer. So, the fun facts are this: Daniel Dubois' last five fights have been Usyk, (Jarrell) 'Big Baby' Miller, (Filip) Hrgovic, (Anthony) Joshua and (Fabio) Wardley. And out of all of those five men, he banged all of them on the jaw each time. And the only sucker to go down five times or even once was Joshua."
