Milestone reached
Having trained with the first team, Gabriel reached another milestone in his fledgling career last week when he was named in United's 25-man squad to travel to Trondheim for a friendly against Rosenborg. While he wasn't handed his first appearance for the senior side, he gained valuable experience by spending more time around the senior stars available to Michael Carrick.
When could Gabriel play?
Fans are already wondering when we could see Gabriel in competitive action, and there's a chance he could be handed an opportunity in the early rounds of the domestic cups next season.
