Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Travis Hunter and his wife Leanna Lenee have announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy. The couple, who married in May, shared the news on their YouTube channel on Wednesday, August 27, with a video titled 'Dear Son, We love you. Love, Mom and Dad.'
The video documents their journey to parenthood, from discovering the pregnancy to the hospital birth. It begins with the couple reacting to a positive pregnancy test, followed by an ultrasound reveal. Leanna revealed that she had a dream in February predicting the baby would be a boy with curly hair, which later came true.
Travis was seen talking to the baby while brushing his teeth, and later expressed hope that his son would follow in his footsteps. After being drafted by the Jaguars in the 2025 NFL Draft, he told his unborn child: 'You gotta be better than me.'
The birth footage shows Leanna in the delivery room with Travis by her side. After the baby's cries were heard, Travis exclaimed: 'That baby look just like me!' causing laughter, before telling Leanna: 'You did good, baby.'
The couple began dating in February 2022, got engaged in February 2024, and married on May 24, 2025, in Tennessee. Leanna previously shared on Instagram that Travis came into her life at the 'most unexpected time' and was an answer to her prayers.
