Alexander Isak continued his fine start to the season as eight Liverpool players were in international action on Friday.
The striker opened the scoring for Sweden in the 20th minute, racing onto Yasin Ayari’s through ball before finishing first time across goal into the bottom corner, as Graham Potter's side kick-started their Nations League campaign with a 2-1 victory over Romania.
Isak's impressive form continues
Isak completed the full 90 minutes for Sweden, and now boasts five goals from seven starts for club and country so far this season.
Dominik Szoboszlai and Milos Kerkez were involved in a heated encounter with Ukraine as Hungary fell to a 1-0 home defeat in their own Nations League fixture.

Tensions boiled over in stoppage-time in Budapest after Oleksandr Nazarenko was sent off for a second bookable offence for a bad challenge near the touchline.
The challenge sparked an angry reaction from both Liverpool players, leading to a brawl between the two sides, with Szoboszlai and Kerkez both then shown a yellow card for their role in the coming-together.

Armin Pecsi was also an unused substitute for Hungary as they fell to a narrow defeat.
Elsewhere, Bradley Barcola was introduced as a 78th minute substitute as France won 1-0 away to Turkey, though Reds team-mate Jeremy Jacquet was left unused on the bench as he was made to wait for his international debut.
Barcola made an instant impact for France, going through on goal and rounding goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir, who handled the ball outside the box and was subsequently sent off.
Giorgi Mamardashvili was also in action as Georgia suffered late heartbreak at home to Northern Ireland, falling to a 1-0 loss following Shea Charles’ 99th-minute winner from close range. Kieran Morrison was an unused substitute for Northern Ireland.
Keyrol Figueroa and Kyle Kelly were also in action for their countries in the Concacaf Nations League. Figueroa came on in the 70th minute as Honduras lost 3-2 to Suriname, while Kelly completed the full 90 minutes for St. Kitts and Nevis as they won 2-1 away at Bonaire.
Meanwhile, Trey Nyoni completed the full 90 minutes for England Under-20s as they won 3-1 against Italy at the Estadi Olympic Camilo Cano in Spain.
Liverpool’s next set of internationals are due to be in action on Saturday, as England host Spain at Wembley. Victor Munoz will be in action for the world champions, but Rio Ngumoha has been left out of the Three Lions matchday squad with Thomas Tuchel only permitted to select 23 players.
