Hulk Hogan Holds Talks with WWE Over Possible Return

Hulk Hogan has held discussions with WWE about a potential return to the wrestling industry, several years after being dismissed over racist remarks. The talks were reported by PWInsider, who claim they began several weeks ago.

WWE released a statement confirming the discussions, but emphasised that Hogan is not under any contract with the company. The statement read: 'We have had discussions with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan) about how he can help others learn from his mistakes, however, he is not under any contract with WWE.'

The 12-time world champion was let go in 2015 following the release of a tape in which he used racist language. He has since apologised, describing the remarks as 'probably the stupidest thing I've ever said'.

Hillbilly Jim, who is expected to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on 6 April, has expressed a desire to have Hogan introduce him, though he has not yet made a final decision. Hogan, meanwhile, is said to be determined to make amends and regain favour with WWE chairman Vince McMahon.
