Arsenal defender Gabriel has heaped praise on Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates this summer. The Brazilian centre-back, who faced the Swedish forward in pre-season, admitted he was impressed by Gyokeres' qualities.
"He's a different class," Gabriel told reporters. "I played against him in a friendly, and you could see his strength and movement. He's not just a typical striker – he works hard, presses well, and has that clinical edge."
Gyokeres, who joined Sporting from Coventry City last year, has been in sensational form, scoring 29 goals in all competitions last season. His performances have caught the eye of several top clubs, with Arsenal reportedly among the frontrunners for his signature.

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal have been searching for a prolific No. 9 to lead the line, and Gyokeres' all-round game makes him an attractive option. Gabriel believes the 26-year-old would adapt well to the Premier League.
