Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is in advanced talks over a move to Galatasaray, with the Brazilian reportedly agreeing personal terms with the Turkish club. The 31-year-old, who has been at the Etihad since 2017, could end his eight-year stay in Manchester this summer.
City are simultaneously negotiating to re-sign James Trafford from Burnley as a potential replacement. The 22-year-old former City academy graduate left for Burnley in 2023 for a fee that included a £40million buyback clause, which City are now trying to negotiate down.
Trafford has impressed in the Championship, attracting interest from Newcastle United, who had a £27m bid rejected last month. However, City are now favourites to bring him back to the Etihad, where he never made a senior appearance before his departure.
If Trafford leaves Burnley, the Clarets could turn to City's current No.2, Stefan Ortega, as they prepare for their return to the Premier League after finishing second in the Championship last season.
City have already been active in the summer transfer window with five new signings, but losing Ederson would be a significant blow as they aim to reclaim the Premier League title from Liverpool.
