Oliver Glasner launched a scathing attack on the Crystal Palace board following a 2-1 defeat to Sunderland, accusing executives of 'abandoning' him and the squad. The Eagles boss, who will leave the club this summer, was incensed by the sale of captain Marc Guehi just one day before the match.
Yeremy Pino put Palace ahead after 30 minutes, but Enzo Le Fee equalised almost immediately. Jean-Philippe Mateta had a goal ruled out for offside before Brian Brobbey scored the winner for Sunderland with 20 minutes remaining.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Glasner said: 'I feel we are being abandoned completely. The worst thing is selling our captain one day before playing a Premier League game. We have 12, 13 players from the squad available and we feel no support.'
Glasner confirmed he will leave Palace at the end of the season, but insisted he will not walk away early: 'Never, I would never. I will go with this group of players until the end because there is so much respect for them.'
The Austrian has been linked with Manchester United and Tottenham, but criticised the timing of Guehi's sale after similar treatment with Eberechi Eze last summer. 'Talk does not win the game,' he added.
