Championship roundup: Portsmouth beat Millwall; Norwich end losing run
Championship: Portsmouth beat Millwall; Norwich end run

Portsmouth came from behind to beat Millwall 2-1 at Fratton Park, while Norwich ended a six-match losing streak with a 3-1 comeback win at Charlton.

Portsmouth edge error-strewn contest

Thomas Waddingham scored a fortunate late winner for in-form Portsmouth, his goal coming in the 82nd minute when Jake Cooper's attempted clearance ricocheted off Waddingham and into the net.

Jenson Metcalfe had put Millwall ahead early on after a mistake from Portsmouth goalkeeper Nicolas Schmid, but Lyndon Dykes's own goal quickly cancelled that out.

The win means Portsmouth have won three of their last four matches, while Millwall have taken just six points from their last seven games.

Norwich comeback eases pressure

Norwich's 3-1 victory at Charlton eased pressure on head coach Philippe Clement. Charlie Kelman fired Charlton into an early lead, but Paris Maghoma equalised before Mathias Kvistgaarden put the visitors ahead and an Ivan Mesik own goal wrapped up the win.

It was Charlton's first defeat at The Valley this season, and they are now without a victory in nine Championship matches.

Bamford injured in Sheffield United draw

Patrick Bamford was injured in the act of scoring Sheffield United's equaliser in a 1-1 draw with 10-man Derby at Bramall Lane. Bobby Clark gave Derby a first-half lead, with Bamford levelling in the 79th minute before going off after falling awkwardly.

Elsewhere, Middlesbrough beat Bolton 5-1 on Friday, with Will Lankshear scoring twice. The win took Middlesbrough top overnight, though they could be deposed if Swansea or West Ham win on Saturday afternoon.
