The Champions League group stage draw for the 2025/26 season has been completed, with several blockbuster ties set to take place. Liverpool will face Real Madrid at Anfield, while Arsenal host Bayern Munich. The draw, conducted in Monte Carlo, has produced intriguing matchups for all six English clubs involved.
Liverpool's group includes Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt, PSV Eindhoven, Marseille, Qarabag, and Galatasaray. Trent Alexander-Arnold could return to Anfield with Real Madrid. Arsenal's opponents are Bayern Munich, Inter, Atletico, Club Brugge, Olympiakos, Slavia Prague, Kairat Almaty, and Athletic Club, meaning Harry Kane will visit the Emirates.
Chelsea face a daunting schedule including Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Benfica, Atalanta, Ajax, Napoli, Pafos, and Qarabag. Notably, Chelsea will meet all four teams they beat en route to winning the 2012 Champions League: Napoli, Benfica, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich. Manchester City will play Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Villarreal, Napoli, Bodo/Glimt, Galatasaray, and Monaco, with Erling Haaland returning to Norway.
Newcastle United, making their group stage debut, have been drawn against Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica, Leverkusen, PSV, Marseille, Athletic Club, and Union Saint-Gilloise. Tottenham Hotspur will face Dortmund, PSG, Villarreal, Frankfurt, Slavia Prague, Bodo/Glimt, Copenhagen, and Monaco, including a rematch of last season's Europa League semi-final against Bodo/Glimt.
The full fixture schedule will be released by UEFA on Saturday. Among the other notable matchups, Olympiakos will play both Real Madrid and Barcelona, while Pafos and Kairat Almaty make their Champions League debuts.
