Carrick and United Stars Support Youth Team in FA Youth Cup Final

Michael Carrick and several first-team stars showed their support for Manchester United's youngsters in their FA Youth Cup final against arch-rivals Manchester City. The two teams faced off on Thursday night in the highly prestigious match, which took place at Manchester City's academy stadium.

Talents on Display

Several young talents were on display, including wonderkid JJ Gabriel and Chido Obi for United, who are managed by Darren Fletcher. For City, Ryan McAidoo, who has made two first-team appearances, started the game, as did Reigan Heskey, son of former England striker Emile Heskey.

Famous Faces in Attendance

The youngsters were cheered on by several famous faces. Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and former academy star Phil Foden were seen watching on. Meanwhile, in the red corner, United boss Carrick, along with club captain Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw, and Mason Mount were also in the stands on Thursday night.

Carrick's assistant coach Steve Holland and United CEO Omar Berrada were also in attendance. The United group were seated in the stands, whereas Guardiola appeared to have a vantage point from a private area higher up.
