New South Wales police officers conducting random breath tests allegedly observed a van stopping short of the testing site. When they tested the driver, he reportedly returned a reading of 0.104 – significantly exceeding the legal blood alcohol limit of 0.05.
Warner was subsequently arrested and transported to Maroubra Police Station. He has been issued a court attendance notice requiring his appearance at Downing Centre on May 7 to address the charges.
