Brennan Johnson Funds 150 Christmas Meals for Nottingham Homeless

Tottenham Hotspur winger Brennan Johnson has donated funds to provide 150 Christmas Day meals for homeless individuals and emergency service workers in Nottingham, his hometown. The 22-year-old, who moved from Nottingham Forest to Tottenham for £47.5 million in the summer, covered the cost of meals prepared by the charity Guru Nanak's Mission.

The charity, which supports those facing homelessness or food insecurity in the Nottingham area, packed over 150 food parcels and delivered 200 donated new toys to struggling families in the lead-up to Christmas. On Christmas Day, they cooked and delivered 150 meals, which were paid for by Johnson.

Bal Bansal, a member of the charity, thanked Johnson on social media, writing: 'Oh, wanted to say a huge Thank You to Brennan Johnson who donated all the money for the food that we cooked tonight! An awesome chap! 150 meals cooked for the homeless & some meals delivered to the A&E (doctors and nurses) & Fire and Police to say thank you for their hard work.'
