Sean Longstaff’s stoppage-time volley earned Leeds a 2-2 draw at Bournemouth, moving them to 40 points and all but securing Premier League survival. The hosts had led through Rayan’s header after Leeds had earlier equalised through an own goal, but Longstaff’s late strike denied Bournemouth a top-six place.
Ipswich moved back into second place in the Championship with a 2-1 win at Charlton, while Middlesbrough kept their automatic promotion hopes alive with victory at the Riverside. Charlton’s defeat also spared Oxford from relegation for now.
In the Premier League, Manchester City went top with a 1-0 win at Burnley, confirming Burnley’s relegation. Leeds’ point leaves them nine clear of Tottenham, who are running out of time to catch them.
Elsewhere, Nice beat Strasbourg 2-0 to reach the Coupe de France final, while Lazio and Atalanta drew in the Italian Cup semi-final, sending the tie to extra time.
