Bournemouth rule out January sale of Eli Junior Kroupi

Bournemouth have reportedly made a decision over selling Eli Junior Kroupi in January, with the club having no intention of letting the forward leave midway through the season.

The 20-year-old is expected to attract plenty of interest ahead of the winter transfer window despite missing the first months of the campaign through injury. Tottenham had hoped to add Kroupi to their long summer shopping list before injury ended their pursuit, opening the door for Arsenal to reignite their interest in January amid the ongoing struggles of Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz.

Growing list of suitors

TEAMtalk report that Manchester United have also joined the ever-expanded list of suitors for the Frenchman. Renewed attention from some of Europe's biggest clubs has followed his return from injury, but Bournemouth are reportedly determined to keep their highly rated forward.

Kroupi made his first appearance of the campaign at the weekend, coming off the bench during Bournemouth's 3-0 victory over Man Utd, before playing 10 minutes against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

Return reignites speculation

Kroupi's return has reignited speculation over his future, and the report claims that Arsenal and Man Utd have made enquiries about his fitness and current situation. Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Chelsea are also reportedly admirers of Kroupi.

Kroupi enjoyed an outstanding first season in English football, scoring 13 Premier League goals and establishing himself as one of the most exciting young attacking talents in the league.

Cherries' recent form

Bournemouth had endured a mixed start to the campaign under new manager Marco Rose, though most recently have scored three goals against each of AC Milan, Manchester United and Aston Villa within seven days.

The Cherries are poised for a fight to keep hold of not only Kroupi, but also England international Alex Scott who is attracting interest from Chelsea.
