Belichick and Girlfriend Trolled After Heavy UNC Defeat

Bill Belichick, 73, and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson, 24, faced online mockery after the University of North Carolina Tar Heels lost their season opener 48-14 to Texas Christian University on Monday night.

TCU safety Bud Clark, who made a key interception, taunted Belichick on Instagram live, saying: 'Belichick gotta call for his girlfriend. He sad.' Social media users also joined in, with one noting the 49-point margin was 'exactly twice his girlfriend’s age.'

Hudson was seen on the sidelines and in a suite with former Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss. The defeat marked the most points Belichick has allowed in any of his 333 NFL games, according to ESPN.

Belichick, in his first college coaching role, acknowledged the team's shortcomings: 'They outplayed us, outcoached us, and they were just better than we were tonight.'

The former New England Patriots head coach signed a five-year contract with UNC in December, reportedly worth up to $30 million. Hudson celebrated the announcement at the time, posting 'We are on to Chapel Hill!!!' on Instagram.
