The 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony is approaching, and the contenders for the club of the year award have been confirmed. Ten leading sides are in the running across the men's and women's categories.
Men's nominees
Premier League champions Arsenal are recognised after claiming a first top-flight title since 2004. Mikel Arteta's side also reached the Champions League final, narrowly missing out on a maiden European crown in Budapest after a penalty shootout defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
Paris Saint-Germain, who won the award last year, are also on the shortlist. Luis Enrique's team recently retained their Ligue 1 and Champions League titles, adding the Trophee des Champions, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Intercontinental Cup. In the Intercontinental Cup final, they beat Flamengo, who are nominated for their Brazilian top-flight title, Copa Libertadores success and Brazilian Super Cup triumph.
Vincent Kompany's Bayern Munich are included for their Bundesliga crown, DFB Pokal and German Super Cup. Bodo/Glimt of Norway complete the men's list as the wildcard nomination after finishing runners-up in the Eliteserien.
Women's nominees
Manchester City won the Women's Super League title for the first time, with Andree Jeglertz also guiding the team to the FA Cup and a League Cup semi-final appearance.
Barcelona claimed a quadruple with the Liga F, Copa de la Reina, Super Cup and Champions League titles. Bayern Munich secured a domestic treble of Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and Super Cup, while Lyonnes finished runners-up in the Champions League but recorded a domestic treble in France. Club America won the CONCACAF W Champions Cup to go with their Liga MX Femenil and Campeon de Campanas trophies.
