Lazar Samardzic converted a stoppage-time penalty to complete a dramatic 4-1 victory for Atalanta over Borussia Dortmund, overturning a 2-0 first-leg deficit to win 4-3 on aggregate and reach the Champions League last 16. Dortmund's Ramy Bensebaini was sent off after catching Atalanta's Nikola Krstovic in the head during a clearance attempt, leading to the decisive spot kick in the 98th minute.

Atalanta had taken control with goals from Gianluca Scamacca, Davide Zappacosta, and Mario Pasalic, but Dortmund levelled the tie with a Karim Adeyemi strike before the late drama. The Italian side will face either Arsenal or Bayern Munich in the next round.

Holders Paris St Germain edged through after a 2-2 draw with 10-man Monaco, advancing 5-4 on aggregate. Monaco took the lead through Maghnes Akliouche, but after Mamadou Coulibaly's red card, PSG equalised via Marquinhos and went ahead through Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Jordan Teze's stoppage-time leveller set up a tense finish, but Wout Faes missed a late chance to force extra time. PSG will meet Barcelona or Chelsea.

Galatasaray lost 3-2 at Juventus but progressed 7-5 on aggregate thanks to extra-time goals from Victor Osimhen and Baris Alper Yilmaz. Juventus had come from 5-2 down to level the tie, despite playing with 10 men after Lloyd Kelly's red card. Galatasaray await Liverpool or Tottenham.
