Anthony Joshua Returns to Ring for Comeback Fight Against Kristian Prenga

Anthony Joshua makes his return to the ring tonight as he faces Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia. The former two-time world heavyweight champion is seeking a victory that could pave the way for a long-awaited showdown with Tyson Fury later in 2026.

Joshua's last outing was a sixth-round knockout of YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in Miami in December. Days after that win, he was involved in a serious car accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two close friends and team members, Sina Ghami and Latif 'Latz' Ayodele, while Joshua suffered minor injuries.

Fury kept up his end of the rivalry by beating veteran Mariusz Wach in a non-televised charity bout in Thailand on Friday. Now Joshua must overcome the little-known Prenga, a New Jersey-based Albanian heavyweight who is unbeaten since his sole professional loss in 2017 and has won his last 16 fights by stoppage.
