Shane Warne's Children Pay Heartfelt Birthday Tribute on What Would Have Been His 56th

Shane Warne's three children have paid loving tributes to the late cricket legend on what would have been his 56th birthday. The iconic spin king died three years ago from a reported heart attack while on holiday with friends in Thailand.

Eldest daughter Brooke, 28, shared a selfie of a throwback photo with a lit candle beside it, captioned: 'Happy birthday, Dad.' The image appears to have been taken in the early 2000s when Warne was at the peak of his career.

Summer, 23, posted a heart-warming video of herself as a toddler running around a pool table before leaping into her father's arms. She also shared a black and white picture with Warne, writing: 'Happy birthday, Dad 56 today. Words cannot describe how much I miss you. I wish I could give you the biggest hug. I love you forever. Hope you are partying up there today.'

Son Jackson, 26, posted a picture from Lord's Cricket Ground, where he stood beside a portrait of his father in the Long Room. He captioned it: 'Very special day, thank you for having me!' and added a humorous remark: 'Thanks for the hair genes!'

Jackson previously described the moment he learned of his father's death as the 'worst phone call of my life.' He recalled receiving two calls from Warne's manager, James Erskine, first informing him of the heart attack and then the devastating news an hour and a half later. Jackson admitted he could not believe his father would not make it, saying: 'I looked at him as superman.'
