Tommy Fury reveals Jake Paul's 'extra nice' message after KSI win

Tommy Fury has revealed that Jake Paul contacted him after his victory over KSI, describing the message as "extra nice" and suggesting the American is trying to secure a rematch.

Fury extended his unbeaten professional record to 10-0 with a points win over KSI last month, though the bout was criticised for excessive holding. The Love Island star cited a pre-existing hand injury as a reason for his subdued display.

The 24-year-old previously handed Paul his first professional defeat in February, winning a split decision despite being knocked down in the final round. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Fury said Paul had been complimentary, but he believes it is an attempt to set up another meeting.

Fury claimed he is now the main attraction in crossover boxing, having beaten both Paul and KSI within a year. He said whoever he faces next is his choice. Paul is due to return to the ring on December 15, his first non-pay-per-view bout since January 2020, and has already called out Fury.

Meanwhile, KSI has admitted he may never fight again after his defeat, which he has appealed with the Professional Boxing Association. He felt he won the fight and that Fury was surprised by his performance.
