Dalton Smith vs Alberto Puello: How to Watch Tonight's Fight Live

Dalton Smith will defend his WBC super lightweight title for the first time against Alberto Puello on Saturday, October 24, at Sheffield's Utilita Arena, with the entire card streaming live on DAZN.

The British champion, unbeaten at 19-0 (14 KOs), faces the Dominican former titleholder Puello (25-1, 11 KOs), who held the belt from 2024 to 2025. The pair were originally scheduled to meet in May, but Smith was forced to postpone the bout after suffering an injury during training.

Smith claimed the world title in January with a fifth-round knockout of Subriel Matias in Brooklyn, New York. Saturday's fight marks his first defence and his first bout in his home town since becoming champion.

Fight Details and Venue

The main card coverage is due to start at 7pm, with the ringwalks for Smith and Puello expected at 10.15pm. The Utilita Arena has a capacity of 12,500.

Ahead of the fight, Matchroom asked Smith for his thoughts on his next opponent. "It's a tough fight," he said. "He's a two-time world champion." "He has an awkward style, but I do well against southpaws."

Amazon customers can stream Smith vs Puello on Prime Video's DAZN channel, but it will not be shown on other channels such as TNT Sports or Sky Sports. BBC will broadcast live audio coverage of the fight on Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds from 10pm.
