Andrew Tate suffered a majority decision defeat to heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor in his Misfits Boxing debut in Dubai on Saturday night.
The 39-year-old, making his first professional appearance in over five years, started strongly using his speed and body shots. DeMoor struggled in the early rounds but rallied in the third, landing a right uppercut that hurt Tate in the fifth. DeMoor secured the win on points after six rounds.
In the undercard, Liverpool's Connor Corrie stopped Islam Mazharov in the first round after a knockdown. Askhat Babakhanov defeated Franco Sesmundo by first-round TKO. Carla Jade retained her title with a points win over Taylor Starling. David Lopez defeated Edgar Garcia by second-round TKO after Garcia's corner threw in the towel. Genia Gonzalez beat Chelsea Emery on points.
