Defensive Solidity
Viljami Sinisalo was solid again, making a brilliant save to deny Ashley Hay late on. Alistair Johnston dovetailed well with Camilo Duran on the right, reminiscent of his partnership with Nicolas Kuhn. Cameron Carter-Vickers was strong defensively and progressive in possession, while Auston Trusty was razor sharp upon his return.
Attacking Intent
Kieran Tierney whipped in an early cross and later provided the perfect delivery for Nygren's winner. Arne Engels showed a moment of quality with a reverse pass but was otherwise off the pace. Callum McGregor cracked the post with a menacing run, and Nygren looked dangerous throughout.
