Trump's Bizarre Rally Noises Raise Mental State Questions

Donald Trump has been making peculiar noises during recent rally speeches, including imitating a gun with 'Pew, pew, pew!' and an unexplained 'eughhh' sound that left supporters confused. These outbursts, aimed at boosting Republican candidates in November, have become a major talking point.

Unusual Sounds During Speeches

At a recent speech, Trump told a crowd: 'I'd say 90% of the reason I took the governor – eughhh,' making a noise that caused his supporters to look around in confusion. In another speech, he said: 'We brought the flow of deadly drugs coming in by ocean and sea down by 97,' before imitating a gun with 'Pew, pew, pew!'

Journalist Adam Cochran commented: '40% of patients suffering from dementia have "VBD" (vocally disruptive behaviour). They are sudden, disruptive and surprising to the patient. Which is why he seems stunned for a moment. The reason they keep giving him the MoCA test is that they know he is in severe cognitive decline.'

Trump Defends Mental Competence

Questions have been raised about Trump's mental state, but the President took time at the Wichita, Kansas, rally earlier this week to brag about his mental competence. After rambling about his math skills – 'dividing a number by three, doubling it, subtracting 400, adding 293, dividing by seven' – Trump bragged about getting a perfect score on the cognitive test.

'They have another one where they give you five words. The doctor actually said, "Well, sir, here's the problem. If you do well, that's fine. If you do poorly, it's going to be a big story. And no other president was willing to take it,' Trump told the crowd.

The President, now 80 years old, has repeatedly bragged about his 'perfect' scores on cognitive tests. It's believed he's taken around six, a high number considering most doctors test every one to three years.

Medical Assessments and Test Scores

In May, after his routine medical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre, Dr Sean Barbabella said Trump is 'fully fit' to serve after he underwent a CT scan and other heart imaging, along with cancer screenings and other preventative assessments carried out by 22 specialists.

Trump wrote on Truth Social at the time: 'Unlike other US Presidents, none of whom have ever taken an approved, high-difficulty cognitive test, I scored a perfect 30 out of 30, considered "extreme intelligence." In fact, this is my fourth such test, all PERFECT or 120 correct answers out of 120 questions asked! It is very rare that anyone gets a Perfect Score, especially when achieved four times in a row.'

However, reports have suggested the 'great difficulty' test may be the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, used to screen for dementia and cognitive impairment.
