Gordon Ramsay Plans Father-Daughter Business with Tilly After Culinary School Success
Gordon Ramsay Eyes Business with Daughter Tilly

Gordon Ramsay has revealed he plans to go into business with daughter Tilly one day after she 'impressed' him by standing on her own two feet during culinary school training.

The celebrity chef, 59, who is a proud dad to six children with wife Tana, gushed that budding chef Tilly, 24, 'has a really good palate' and would love to do a 'father-daughter duo'.

Speaking to the Daily Mail at the launch of his new Krude olive oil, Gordon insisted that 'business today is tough' but Tilly is worth 'investing in' after she has proved she can stand on her own two feet.

Tilly's Culinary Journey

He said: 'Tilly is finally following in my footsteps, one of my six are keen to get into it, I've got a police officer, commander, fashionista, Tills is out and about finally. She was actually part of the blind taste test with the Krude olive oil, she has a really good palate.'

Asked whether he would ever consider going into business with budding chef Tilly, who trained at the prestigious Ballymaloe Cookery School, Gordon added: 'A father daughter duo, honestly it's a tough one. Business today is tough everywhere is feeling it. It is a smart concept but yeah I would look at investing in her.'

'I was impressed with her graduating university but I was sad to be honest with you. I think I was sad in one sense but incredibly respectable in another because she wanted to be taught by someone else. I made it clear on day one with the kids around the restaurants that they couldn't think they could walk in there and start working. They have to climb that five metre board, 10 metre and earn their way. Even though it is a kick in the b*******s I'll take it.'

Tilly's Perspective

Elsewhere during the lavish Krude launch party, Tilly told Daily Mail she has loved sharing a passion with her father and is 'grateful for his support'. She said: 'It's really lovely following in his footsteps when you've got a shared passion with someone it can either go one way or another but it's really lovely and we bounce off each other. He's great for advice in so many ways and so is mum, who is a passionate foodie as well. I'm really lucky to be able to talk to them about what I do and my plans for the future and I'm grateful for their support.'

The former Strictly star added: 'Food brings us together as a family and we've shared amazing times around the dinner table at home and we're very lucky.'
