It was adorned with Irish flags and bunting, along with a makeshift cage and a sign reading "Prince Andrew goin to jail." This trailer participated in several parades on Tuesday in County Galway and County Mayo, specifically passing through Headford, Kilmaine, Shrule, and Ballinrobe.
Strong Condemnation from Charities
Rape Crisis Ireland labelled the float "an act of public grooming" that trivialises sexual violence. Clíona Saidléar, the executive director, expressed shock at the re-enactment of such incidents as entertainment, calling it an appalling failure of judgment that reflects a misogynistic culture.
