House Republicans 'so goddamn sick of being asked' about Trump's Epstein card

House Republicans are growing frustrated with questions about a birthday card President Donald Trump allegedly sent to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The card, reportedly featuring a crude drawing, was among documents released by the House Oversight Committee.

Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina expressed her exasperation, saying she is 'so goddamn sick of being asked about a f*****g birthday card.' Mace, who co-signed a petition to release Epstein-related files, stressed the need to focus on victims who have sought justice for decades.

Mace has defended Trump, noting he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago and acted as an FBI informant. However, evidence for Trump's informant status is scant, and the White House later said Speaker Mike Johnson misspoke on the matter.

Other Republicans, including Representative Anna Paulina Luna, have pointed to a note from Bill Clinton in Epstein's birthday book, questioning its authenticity. Luna noted that Trump has filed a defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal over reports of the card.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer dismissed the significance of the notes, stating they are not important evidence and that no victims have implicated Trump or Clinton in Epstein's crimes.
