Pitt Star Briones Tells Fans to Stop Shouting at Broadway

Isa Briones, known for her role in the hit medical drama The Pitt, has issued a stern warning to fans who disrupt her Broadway performances by shouting references to the television series. The actress, currently starring in the musical Just in Time, took to Instagram to express her frustration.

A Call for Respect

In a social media post, Briones wrote: 'Once again, Broadway is not a circus. Do not yell whatever you want at the performers. Yelling “when are you going to finish your charts” before I sing Who’s Sorry Now? is disrespectful to the performers onstage and your fellow audience members. Y’all are pissin’ me off.' She added a plea for shared spaces and respect for the art form.

Briones' Broadway Journey

Briones made her Broadway debut in 2024 as Eurydice in Hadestown. In April, she began playing Connie Francis in Just in Time, a jukebox musical about singer-songwriter Bobby Darin. Her rapid rise to fame stems from her role as Dr. Trinity Santos on The Pitt, a show that has become a global phenomenon since its 2025 premiere.

Co-Star's Experience

Her co-star Patrick Ball, who plays Dr. Frank Langdon, has also experienced fan interactions. He told the Prestige Junkie podcast about fans waiting at the stage door with gifts, calling it a 'blessing.' He noted the contrast between the isolated TV set and the immediate feedback from live audiences.

The Pitt's Success

Since its second season began in January, The Pitt has topped Nielsen's streaming charts with over 1 billion minutes of watch time for eight consecutive weeks. The first season earned 13 Emmy nominations and won five, including Best Drama Series. A third season is already in development.
