Katie Price has issued an urgent plea to her fans as she demands answers regarding the alleged kidnapping of her husband, Lee Andrews. In a video posted on YouTube, the former glamour model insisted that Andrews is missing and begged fans to assist in locating him, while also condemning those who questioned whether the situation was a publicity stunt as 'disgusting'.
Katie's Emotional Plea
In the video, Katie faced the camera and spoke about the immense difficulty of the current situation. She said: 'Hey everyone, I'm here to do an update about Lee. This is a really difficult time for me at the moment. It's been five days since I've heard anything from Lee. None of his family have heard anything, his dad is out in Dubai and he's heard nothing.'
She revealed that they had reported Andrews as missing to the British Embassy, and the Foreign Office confirmed they are 'supporting the family of a British man'. Katie added that her 'anxiety levels are sky high'.
Appeal for Information
Katie then begged fans for help, continuing: 'If there's anyone in Dubai or you know anyone in Dubai and you spot him or see him... I don't know because I don't know where he is. Because the last thing I know, his hands were tied and he had a hood over his head and he was in the back of a van.'
The star also thanked those who had been supportive, including fans, family, and friends. 'All I can do is look after myself and my head and get on with each day as I can,' she said. 'Because I still have to get on with life. I want to thank everyone for their kind messages. I'm a tough girl. I'm a survivor but I've never been in a situation like this.'
'No one needs to worry about me, I always keep my head mind body and soul in check as I have done for a long time but it's just the unknown and the anxiety because I just don't know where he is. It is distressing.'
Addressing Speculation
Katie took the opportunity to address ongoing speculation, telling followers: 'I know there's lots of things flying about,' before claiming that she 'knows what's going on'. She said: 'You're hearing it from me, I know what's going on and that's who you have to listen to. This isn't a game. This is real life.'
The mother-of-five slammed those who suggested the situation might be a 'publicity stunt' and thought she might be involved, fuming: 'Everyone who is trying to speculate, take the p*ss and make jokes - this isn't a scandal, it's something that's really happening and there are real feelings involved. It could be going on for weeks, months, years, forever.'
She added: 'This is not a publicity stunt this is real, and anyone who thinks I am a part of it is disgusting.' Getting even angrier, she said: 'I'm really upset and distressed that people think I'm in on it. Are you joking? Come on, give me some credit why would I do that?'
Dubai's Safety
Amid the turbulent time, Katie praised Dubai and branded the area 'safer than England', despite her husband's alleged kidnapping. 'I know Dubai is a safe place. Every time I've gone I feel safe there. You don't hear about crimes. I regard Dubai as a lot safer than England, I love Dubai.'
Finally, she issued her plea for help and answers to fans again, concluding: 'I am now relying on the media to help me know what's happened. If someone knows where he is, please come to me or the newspapers to help me find him. Please help me find him.'
