Katie Price has expressed deep concerns that her husband, Lee Andrews, might remain missing for an extended period. The former glamour model has not spoken to the businessman for nearly a week, and her anxiety continues to escalate.
Katie's Emotional Plea
In a YouTube video posted on Tuesday, Katie shared her distress, stating, "I don't know if this is going to go on for weeks, months, years, or never." She admitted to being "anxious every day" about the whereabouts of her fourth husband.
The Foreign Office has confirmed they are assisting the family of a missing man in Dubai, though details remain scarce. Katie has released her last messages to Lee, which have sparked confusion about whether he was arrested, detained, or kidnapped.
Family Tensions
Lee's family has reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with Katie's public handling of the situation. A family friend, Rebecca, told the Daily Mail that Lee's sister Kelly is leading the family's efforts and communicating with Katie and the police. Rebecca said, "She is trying to take the strain off her mother, Trisha, and I'm trying to support both of them through this worrying time."
Rebecca added, "Kelly wasn't happy with the video Katie put out about him being kidnapped. That blew everything up, and it was unnecessary." Lee's mother, Trisha, also criticised Katie on Facebook, accusing her of exploiting the situation.
Katie Denies Publicity Stunt
Katie has vehemently denied claims that the disappearance is a publicity stunt. She said, "I'm really upset everyone thinks I'm in on this. Are you guys actually joking? This is not a publicity stunt. This is real." She emphasised that none of Lee's family has heard from him, including his father in Dubai, and that they have reported him to the British Embassy as a missing person.
Katie concluded, "Everyone who is trying to speculate or make jokes, think of other people's feelings. It is not nice. It isn't a game, it is real life. This is really happening, and there are real feelings involved here."
