Nigel Farage has raised doubts about Donald Trump's judgment regarding the Iran war, despite maintaining that the U.S. president remains a friend. In an interview with the Daily Mail, the Reform UK leader voiced concerns that Trump's historically anti-war position could be compromised by the ongoing military action.
Farage Questions Trump's Advisers
Farage, who has previously suggested that Trump was poorly advised ahead of the military campaign, admitted he has not spoken to the president in months. Their last communication occurred “earlier this year,” he revealed.
Reform UK's Policy Agenda
The Brexit campaigner also outlined Reform UK's policy priorities, which include scrapping Sir Keir Starmer's post-Brexit EU reset in favour of closer economic ties with the United States, overhauling the welfare system, and expanding oil and gas drilling in the North Sea.
Farage's comments come amid ongoing heckling at Reform UK events, as the party seeks to position itself ahead of the next general election.
