According to Kampala police spokeswoman Rachel Kawala, preliminary findings indicate that Denis got into a misunderstanding with the suspect, which escalated into a physical altercation. The suspect allegedly struck Denis on the head, causing him to collapse and die instantly.

Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect and are appealing for any information that could lead to an arrest.
