Series 2 of I'm a Celeb All Stars launches tonight, and a sneak peek into the first episode reveals TV comic Seann Walsh confronting his fear of heights in a grueling trial alongside 80s pop sensation Sinitta. The clip shows Walsh screaming in horror as he races the So Macho hitmaker across a bridge suspended 150 feet in the air, a classic I'm a Celeb-style challenge designed to test the campmates' nerves.
Petrifying Heights and Unlikely Pairings
Seann Walsh, who previously appeared on the 2023 series, returns to the jungle for an All Stars stint, and his face is a picture of sheer terror during the inaugural challenge. In the trial, Walsh and Sinitta must jump across a series of wooden platforms to cross a ravine, with Walsh at one point strapped into a wooden barrel. Before the height-defying bridge cross, Walsh is seen in a helicopter looking visibly queasy, hinting at the intense fear he experienced.
Speaking about the trial to The Sun, Walsh admitted, "It was terrifying. But the first time I went in with Matt Hancock, so it wasn't as scary as that." This comment highlights the comparative nature of his jungle experiences, suggesting that while daunting, this trial may not top his previous encounters.
Cast and Format Changes for 2026 Edition
The 2026 edition of I'm a Celeb All Stars was filmed in September 2025 at Kruger National Park in South Africa, featuring a star-studded cast including David Haye, Gemma Collins, Harry Redknapp, Scarlett Moffatt, Adam Thomas, Sir Mo Farah, Ashley Roberts, Craig Charles, Jimmy Bullard, and Beverley Callard. ITV promises a "fresh group" of returning campmates and "spectacular" locations, along with "some of the most epic and extreme trials" in the franchise's history.
Public Vote Returns for Live Final
In a significant format change, the new series will reintroduce a public vote after the first series did not feature one. Viewers will have the power to decide who wins in a live final broadcast from the UK. ITV stated, "After weeks of shocks, showdown and survival, viewers will be able to have their say and cast the final vote in a live grand final broadcast direct from London." This shift aims to engage audiences more directly and add an element of unpredictability to the outcome.
Hosts Express Excitement Over Series Return
Hosts Ant and Dec have shared their enthusiasm for the show's comeback. Ant remarked, "The campmates really brought their A-game to the first series so we can't wait to be back for more trials, challenges and surprises amongst the beautiful South African landscape." Dec added, "Having a live final is an exciting addition to the new series with the viewers choosing their IAC Legend and we've heard some of the new trials are truly epic, even by I'm a Celeb… standards!" Their comments underscore the heightened anticipation and production values for this season.
Series 2 of I'm a Celeb All Stars premieres tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, airing every weeknight for three weeks, with the live grand final scheduled for Friday, April 24. Fans can expect a blend of familiar faces, breathtaking challenges, and interactive elements that promise to make this installment a memorable one.
