Mo Farah Embarks on I'm A Celebrity All Stars Adventure in South Africa

Sir Mo Farah, the celebrated Olympic athlete, is set to make a dramatic return to reality television as he joins the highly anticipated I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here All Stars series. This special edition, filmed in the South African jungle, will feature twelve of the show's most memorable former contestants, with the launch scheduled for Monday, April 6, 2026, on ITV1 and STV.

A New Chapter for the Retired Champion

In an exclusive revelation, Farah has opened up about a significant personal change since his last appearance on the show in 2020. "The last time I was in there was hard, because I was still competing and you worry about what you can and can't say," the 43-year-old explained. "This time around, I am retired. I've got nothing to prove and I can be more open."

This newfound freedom allows Farah to engage more deeply with the experience, as he notes, "I can talk about things in more detail." However, one aspect remains unchanged: his intense fear of snakes. "Even speaking about snakes makes me feel terrified," he confessed. "There were so many things I was scared of when I did those trials, but it was the snakes that I found scariest."

From Olympic Glory to Jungle Trials

Sir Mo Farah's legacy as one of Team GB's greatest Olympians is firmly established, with four gold medals from the 2012 London and 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games, leading to his knighthood in 2017. His personal life has also captured public attention, including his marriage to Tania Nell and their four children, as well as the 2022 documentary where he revealed he was brought to the UK illegally as a child.

His previous stint on I'm A Celebrity in 2020 saw him compete in a Welsh castle due to COVID-19 restrictions, where he placed sixth. Memorable moments included the Fort Locks trial, where he faced fish guts and critters to win meals for the camp.

Competitive Spirit and New Challenges

A source close to Farah highlighted his competitive nature ahead of the South African series, stating, "Mo is very competitive so is definitely out to win this time round. He's excited to experience a different side of I'm A Celeb as obviously the castle series were dramatically different to Oz. The sunny camps bring with them new problems, but he's feeling excited for the challenge."

As fans eagerly await the show's premiere, Farah's journey promises to blend his athletic determination with the raw, unfiltered environment of the jungle, offering a unique glimpse into the life of a retired sports icon embracing new adventures.
