Jerry Hall praised King Charles III as 'forward-thinking' at the King's Trust 50th Anniversary Gala in London, where the charity raised £2.5 million for disadvantaged young people. The supermodel, who attended with ex-husband Mick Jagger's support, said she has involved her children in the charity's work.
The star-studded event, held at the Chancery Rosewood hotel, was hosted by Holly Willoughby and Stanley Tucci, with a performance by Robbie Williams. Guests included Brooke Shields, Trinny Woodall, Dominic West, Colin Salmon, and Christian Louboutin.
Jerry Hall, wearing a black velvet Tom Ford dress, said: 'They do wonderful work, helping disadvantaged young people, guiding them, helping them with their careers. I've got my kids involved.' She added of the King: 'I think he's wonderful; I'm a huge fan.'
Brooke Shields, who flew from the US to support her friend India Hicks (the King's goddaughter and event chair), said: 'It's important that that type of charity and support starts with where you are, and his support of it really just shows the compassion and care.'
The gala, sponsored by Charlotte Tilbury, featured an auction of unique experiences. The King's Trust, formerly The Prince's Trust, has helped millions of young people since its founding in 1976.
