The United States is reportedly planning to launch strikes on Iran today, following President Donald Trump's warning that the country "is dead." On Wednesday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth told reporters at CENTCOM: "CENTCOM will be busy tonight because we are going to hit Iran hard."
Hegseth's Statement
Hegseth elaborated on the planned military action, stating: "Iran has a chance to make a great deal. They haven't been willing to it... they are going to have tap, tap, tap bombs dropping on key facilities in Iran from the U.S. - it is not to restart the war but to set the terms for a deal."
The comments come amid heightened tensions between the two nations, with the US military preparing for potential operations. The Secretary's remarks suggest a strategic approach aimed at compelling Iran to negotiate rather than engaging in full-scale conflict.
