A 60-year-old woman has claimed she was told she has the 'skin of a 20-year-old' after adding a collagen powder to her daily routine. The product, Codeage Multi Collagen Peptides Powder, costs roughly 50p per serving when purchased with a discount code from wellness retailer iHerb.
The woman, who turned 60 earlier this year, said she started taking the supplement in March and noticed results within weeks. 'Running my fingers on my legs had me surprised that it felt like glass! My hair has been behaving better and looks thicker,' she wrote in a review. She added that a woman at an estate sale commented on her youthful appearance after learning her age.
The unflavoured powder contains five collagen types (I, II, III, V and X) and 18 amino acids, sourced from grass-fed bovine, organic chicken bone broth, organic beef bone broth, wild-caught fish and eggshell collagen. It is designed to support skin, hair, nails, joints and connective tissue, and can be added to coffee, tea, smoothies or soups without altering taste.
