Lighting Is Key
The expert explains that the most common reason peace lilies fail to flower is insufficient light. She recommends moving the plant to a spot that receives brighter natural light from a window, avoiding direct sunlight which can burn the leaves. A north-facing window providing bright indirect light is ideal.
While peace lilies can survive in low light, they will not thrive or produce flowers in dark corners. Shifting the plant to a brighter location can make a significant difference.
Signs of Too Much Light
If the blooms stay green instead of transitioning from green to white and then brown, it may indicate the plant is getting too much light. Adjusting the position can help restore proper flowering.
Fertilising for Blooms

The expert advises feeding peace lilies only during the growing seasons of spring and summer with a balanced, water-soluble houseplant fertiliser every four to six weeks.
