Liu's secret, she revealed in a 2023 interview, is avoiding most beauty treatments. 'I don't do facials. I don't do massages. I just don't do it,' she told The Cut.
Instead, Liu relies on acupuncture and holistic medicine. She also stated she will 'never' undergo plastic surgery, citing a dislike for pain. 'I could barely do a Swedish massage,' she said.
Liu is a single mother to her son Rockwell, 10, born via gestational surrogate in 2015. She explained her decision, saying, 'It just seemed like the right option for me because I was working.' She added that she didn't overthink the process, preferring to 'figure it out' once her child arrived.
