Reality television star Kourtney Kardashian has revealed she continues to breastfeed her two-year-old son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, during a candid discussion about motherhood and wellness.
Wellness Philosophy and Motherhood Balance
The 46-year-old made the personal disclosure while participating in a panel titled 'Lemme Lead: Redefining Wellness & Access' at Women's Wear Daily's The Catalysts event in New York on Tuesday. Kardashian, who shares baby Rocky with her rocker husband Travis Barker, 50, spoke openly about her dietary choices while explaining how she maintains energy as a busy mother of four.
When moderator Jenny B. Fine of WWD inquired about her energy sources, Kardashian responded frankly: "How do I get my energy? Honestly, I have no idea. I wonder that. I do no alcohol. I'm breastfeeding."
Her business partner and Lemme co-founder Simon Huck, 42, chimed in: "You were a matcha girl before," prompting Kardashian to add: "I cannot wait to have matcha again. It's a choice. I technically could have it, I think while breastfeeding, but it's just become a choice."
Strict Wellness Routine and Supplement Regimen
The Kardashians star elaborated on her non-negotiable daily habits that help her manage a demanding schedule. "I think for me, I have my real only non-negotiable right now because I think moms get it that sometimes your things come last," she explained. "So I would say walking daily and taking my supplements, those are the two things. And getting at least eight hours of sleep."
Kardashian provided detailed insight into her supplement routine, which heavily features products from her Lemme brand. She described taking different formats throughout the day, including the newly launched liquid colostrum product which she takes straight rather than mixing with coffee.
"I take different formats throughout the day. So I do feel especially like we just did our liquid, Lemme Colostrum, and that one, I just put it straight into my mouth. That's my way of doing it," she said. "I think it's supposed to go in coffee, right? And I don't drink coffee, and I don't drink caffeine, actually, but I put it straight into my mouth. That's just my way."
Business Success and Family Collaborations
During the WWD Beauty Inc Awards ceremony, Kardashian and Huck accepted the 'Brand of the Year: Wellness' award for their Lemme supplement line, which first launched in September 2022. The reality star shared that her wellness journey began nearly sixteen years ago when she had her first child.
"I started my wellness journey when I had my first baby, almost 16 years ago. And everything I do is for my kids in this space. And so it means so much to me, so thank you guys. I'm so grateful," she told the audience.
Despite coming from one of the world's most famous business families, Kardashian revealed she doesn't frequently seek business advice from her manager mother Kris Jenner or her famous siblings. "Not for any reason other than I feel like when we're together, we just don't really talk business that much," she explained.
However, she expressed enthusiasm about recent family collaborations, noting that her sister Kim Kardashian recently participated in their colostrum campaign. The brand has eight new products scheduled for release over the next nine months, along with two significant beauty brand collaborations that Kardashian described as involving "two of my favorite brands."
Huck provided additional hints about one collaboration, describing it as "a big beauty brand that you and Travis are obsessed with and can help Penelope," referring to Kardashian's 13-year-old daughter.
The breastfeeding revelation comes amid ongoing speculation among fans that Kardashian might be expecting her fifth child, though she has consistently denied these rumours. The star shares three older children - Mason, 15, Penelope, 13, and Reign, 10 - with former partner Scott Disick, while husband Travis Barker has two children from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler.
