Reality television personality Gemma Collins has proudly showcased the dramatic results of her health and fitness journey, posting a snap in a striking cut-out swimsuit from a luxury London spa.
A New Year's Revelation
The 44-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star shared the image on Instagram, where she posed confidently in a cream and bronze one-piece adorned with gold starfish. In the caption, written from the Jumeirah Carlton Tower hotel, she spoke of a January vibe focused on "R and R and lots of water," before adding a significant ambition: "Manifesting a swimwear range for 2026!"
Her famous friends were quick to applaud the transformation, with Love Island winner Dani Dyer responding with a series of heart-eyed emojis. The post comes just days after Gemma hinted at major life changes for the year ahead, telling followers she had enjoyed her "last glass of champagne" as she focuses on planning her wedding to fiancé Rami Hawash and her goal of starting a family.
The Weight Loss Journey and Mounjaro
Gemma Collins has been refreshingly open about her struggles with weight since rising to fame in 2011. She recently confirmed she has shed an impressive 3.5 stone, moving from a size 26 to a size 16. A key part of this transformation has been the use of the prescription medication Mounjaro, typically used to treat type 2 diabetes but also prescribed for weight loss.
Her journey with the injectable treatment hasn't been entirely smooth. The star revealed she experienced what she described as a "gallbladder attack" in August 2025, leading her to pause the injections. "I had to stop the jabs for a bit," she explained, though she was assured the issue was not directly linked to Mounjaro.
Microdosing for the Future
Following this health scare, Gemma says she managed her diet carefully and is now planning a new approach. She intends to begin "microdosing" Mounjaro, sticking to the starter dose of 2.5mg per week instead of increasing to the maximum 15mg. She believes this method will help her avoid negative side effects while still benefiting from the treatment.
Calling the drug "life-changing," she emphasised that her goal is health, not an extreme physique. "I'm never going to look stick thin. I don't want to look stick thin. It's not who I am. But it's about being healthier," she stated. Her ultimate aim is to lose a total of 6 stone, but she insists she is not rushing to lose weight dramatically, preferring a steady and sustainable path.
With plans for a wedding, a baby, and now a potential swimwear line, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Gemma Collins, all while she continues to champion a positive and health-focused body image.
